The RDB Star Rating assessments are carried out on an annual basis to an agreed timetable.
A list of all the registered care homes in a participating authority’s local area is sent to RDB, who then send an Expression of Interest
form together with the fee structure to every home on the list. Once RDB receives the completed Expression of Interest form, the
home is sent the registration documentation.
